Bid Invitation for the Manufacture
and
Supply of Furniture
1. GOAL
Ethiopia, an International Humanitarian Organization, invites
sealed bids from eligible bidders for the manufacture and supply
of furniture for Sidama Project office. GOAL works towards ensuring
that the poorest and most vulnerable in our world and those
affected by humanitarian crises have access to the fundamental needs
and rights of life, i.e. food, water, shelter, medical attention and
primary education. It is non-denominational, non-governmental and
non political organization.
2. The
successful bidders will supply the required quantity of furniture
in accordance with delivery schedule of GOAL Ethiopia.
3. Interested
bidders who can provide current and legal registration license from
the Ministry of Trade and Industry thereafter may obtain the bidding
documents during office hours starting from the first day this
notice appeared in The Ethiopian Herald News Paper against payment
of non-refundable administrative charge of Birr 50.00 (Fifty Birr)

4. Bidders
should submit their offers accompanied by copies of all
appropriate documents /licenses in a wax-sealed and stamped envelope
to GOAL Ethiopia head office into the box ready for the bid on or
before 10:00 A.M. 15 August 2008.
5. Bidders
shall furnish as part of their bid, a bid security in the amount of
Eth. Birr 5000 (Five Thousand) in the form of cash payment order
(CPO) issued by a recognized bank, which will be refunded as soon as
a contract is signed.
6. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders or their legal
representatives who choose to attend on 15 August 2008 at 10:30A.M. at the GOAL Ethiopia meeting
room, Head Office, Addis Ababa.

reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
