1. Amhara
Region IFAD-Agricultural Marketing Improvement Programme invites all
local interested and eligible bidders for the following studies:
1.1.
The study of abusive practices of middlemen/brokers on Onion
and tomato marketing in Fogera Woreda.
1.2.
The study of value chain anaysis of sesame and cotton with
special reference to Metema Woreda
1.3.
The study of value chain analysis of sesame and cotton with
special reference to Metema Woreda
2. A
complete set of bidding document may be purchased by interested
bidders for 30.00 (Thirty Birr) for each study on the submission of
a written application from the Bureau of Agriculture and Rural
Development, Office No. 68. P.O. Box 537 Tel. 058-220 28 67, Bahir
Dare, Ethiopia.
3. All
bidders should bring a registration certificate, VAT registration
certificate and renewed trade license for 2000 Ethiopian fiscal
year.
4. Bid
must be delivered to the above office on or before 12:30 P.M. of the
20th calendar day beginning form its press on the news
paper and must be accompanied by a bid security of 1% of the bid
amount in the form of C.P.O. or bank guarantee issued or confirmed
by local banks.
5. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders/legal representatives who
choose to attend at 2:30 A.M. on the same date in the above office.
6. Bid
can be submitted for one or more than one study.
7. The
bureau reserves the right to reject part of all bids.
