Description

Mekelle University, hereby needs to hire contractors and consultants for construction and Supervision of building projects to be build in different campuses of Mekelle University, Mekelle, Tigray Regional State.

1.      All Consultants of Grade II are invited to prepare Proposal for Deign Review, Supervision and Contract Administration (MUSS11) of Building Project with Contract number of MUBP20, MUBP30 and MUBP34.

2.      All Consultants of Grade II and above are invites to prepare Proposals for Design Review, Supervision and Contract Administration (MUSS12) of Building project with Contract number of MUBI21 and MUBP31.

3.      All Consultants of Grade II and above are invited to prepare Proposals for Design Review, Supervision and Contract Administration (MUSS13) of Building project with Contract number of MUBP 22.

4.      All Consultants of Grade III and above are invited to prepare Proposals for Design Review, Supervision and Contract Administration (MUSS14) of Building project with Contract number of MUBP 23, MUBP 24 and MUBP 25.

5.      All Consultants of Grade II and above are invited to prepare Proposals for Design Review, Supervision and Contract Administration (MUSS 15) of Building project with Contract number of MUBP 26, MUBP 27 and MUBP 28.

6.      All Consultants of Grade IV and above are invited to prepare Proposal for Design Review, Supervision and Contract Administration (MUSS16) of Building project with Contract number of MUBP 29, MUBP 35, and MUPB 36.

7.      All Consultants of Grade IV and above are invited to prepare Proposals for Design Review, Supervision and Contract Administration (MUSS17) of Building project with Contract number of MUBP 33,and MUBP 32.

8.      All Grade III Building or General Contractors are invited for a bid of building projects with Contract number of MUBP 23, MUBP 24, MUBP 26, MUBP 27, MUBP 28, MUBP 32 and MUBP 38.

9.      All Grade I Building or General Contractors are invites for a bid of building projects with Contract number of MUBP 20, MUBP 21, and MUBP 22.

10.  All Grade IV Building or General Contractors are invited for a bid of building projects with Contract number of MUBP 25, MUBP 29, MUBP 30, MUBP 31, MUBP 33, MUBP 34, MUBP 35, MUBP 36 and MUBP 37.

11.  The contracts and consultants should have a valid renewed license for 2000 E.C. and they shall be VAT registered.

12.  Bid documents can be purchased form the university for a non-refundable fee of Contractors.

Birr 600 (Six Hundred Birr only) for each document of MUBP 23, MUBP 24, MUBP 26, MUBP 27, MUBP 28 and MUBP 32.
Birr 900 (Nine Hundred Birr only) for each document of MUBP 20, MUBP 21 and MUBP 22.
Birr 450 (Four Hundred Birr only) for each documents of MUBP 25, MUBP 29, MUBP 30, MUBP 31, MUBP 33, MUBP 34, MUBP 35, and MUBP 36.
Birr 300 (Three Hundred Birr only) for each documents of MUBP 37 and MUBP 38.

Consultants

Birr 150 (One Hundred Fifty Birr) for each documents of MUSS 11, MUSS 12, MUSS 13, MUSS 14, MUSS 15, MUSS 16 and MUSS 17.

13.  Bid Documents can be obtained from Room No. 15, Administration Building, Main Campus Mekelle University (MU), Mekelle, Ethiopia. Tel. 251—34-440 75 00 Or 440 75 01 Or 440 75 02, Fax 251-033 440 90 21.

14.  Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 (Ninety) days after bid opening and must be accompanied by a security of 1% (One Present) of the bid amount but not exceeding Birr 100,000.00 (One Hundred Thousand) or its equivalent in a convertible currency, and shall be delivered to the aforementioned address.

15.  Closing time for submission of bid will be at the end of 3:30 local time of the 30^th day to be counted from the date of announcement of the tender and its opening time will be on the same day at 4:00 local time.  If the 30^th day is not working day, the bid will be closed and opened at the aforementioned time of the next working day.

16.  Mekelle University reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the bid.
