1. Ethiopian
Electric Power Corporation (EEP Co) owned a large number of
transport fleet for its main operations and project construction
activites. Major maintenance and services of the transport fleet is
being done at the Corporation maintenance workshop located at Kotebe
area to support the maintenance activities, the Corporation needs to
have a reliable supplier(s) who supplies Genuine spare parts on
Just-In-Time (JIT) basis at a competitive price over a certain
period (at least a minimum of one year). Hence the Corporation
invites all eligible suppliers to bid for different model of Scania,
Isuzu, Ford, Fiat, Daewoo, KIA and Mitsubishi etc. spare parts and
Automotive Batteries.
2. The
Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation now invites sealed bids from
eligible bidders for the supply of spare parts and batteries.
3. The
Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation now invites sealed bids from
eligible bidders for the supply of spare parts and batteries for
illustrated vehicles and trucks in the bid document in different
lots.

5. The
bid document shall be available from June 16, 2008 on wards against
payment receipt of non-refundable fee of ETH. Birr 200 for each lot
from the above stated address.
6. All
bids must be occupied by a bid security as specified in the bid data
sheet in the currency or equivalent amount in birr and must be
delivered to the address above at or before 12:00 AM hours (local
time) on July 15, 2008.
7. The
bidders should submit complete offer for all the sub items under the
main item, incomplete offer will result in rejection of the offer.
8. Bid
will be opened on July 15, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. hours (local time A. A) in the presence of the bidders or their
representatives who choose to attain the bid opening held at Mexico
Square EEPCo.
9. Bids
must be accompanied with Bid Bond of Birr 10,000. The bid bond
should be either in the form of certified cheque or CPO.
