Tigray Information Bureau invites all interested bidders of Contractors of category GC/BC Class 1 with Trade license valid for the year 2000 E.C. and can present registration certificate for construction work service from concerned organization.

1.      The Tigray Information Bureau /TIB/ has invited wax-sealed bids comprising of a Technical and Financial proposal from eligible bidders for the providing the necessary labor, material and equipment for the construction of TV and Radio Broadcasting Complex at Mekelle.

2.      Bidding documents may be purchased up on the submission of written application to:

And upon payment of non-refundable fee of Birr 2000 starting from the first day of this announcement on the Newspapers.

3.      Each bid must be accompanied by bid bond in an acceptable from either in the form of CPO in the sum equal to 100,000 Birr, which is valid for 90 calendar days after the date of bid opening and shall be submitted in separate envelope.

4.      Bidders may obtain further information, inspect and acquire bidding documents from the above mentioned office.

5.      Both the technical document and the financial bid documents shall be in separate envelopes and wax-sealed (One original and One copy).

6.      Sealed Technical and priced bid documents shall be submitted to the above address on or before 3:00 P.M. hours of the 20^th day of the first announcement on the newspaper and shall be publicly opened the same day and place at 3:30 P.M. if the 20^th day is not working day final day of bid submission and bid opening will be the next working day. Bidders are advised to attend the opening of the bids.

7.      Bidders must present certificate of VAT registration and TIN.

8.      Rejection Criteria: The Employer will reject the bidder whose bid doesn’t fulfill the following condition.

a. Bidders should present in the Technical document currently renewed trade license and renewed registration certificate from Urban development and construction.

b. Bidders should submit one original and one copy for both Technical and Financial documents under separately sealed envelope.

9.      The Tigray Information Bureau reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
