Ethiopian Telecommunications Corporation Fixed Line invites sealed bid from eligible bidders for the procurement of Mobile Apparatus

1.      The Tender remains floating from June 17, 2008 until July 8, 2008. Bid documents can be obtained form ETC’s Legehar Building 3^rd floor Office Room No. 332 (Addis Ababa) during office hours upon payment of non-refundable fee of Birr 30 (Twenty Birr). Bidders should submit all their renewed original license & VAT certificate with copies (if they are registered) when they come to obtain the bid documents.

2.      Bidders shall furnish as par of their bid, security of Birr 6,000 (Birr Six Thousand).

3.      The bid bond must be in either of the following form

a)      Cash

b)      Certified Cheque (CPO) issued by a recognized Bank or

c)      Bank guarantee from recognized Bank

4.      Bidders who wish to submit bid security in the form of cash are required to deposit to ETC fixed line (Legehar Building) casher, second floor Room No. 213, on or before July 8, 2008 at 5:00 P.M. and produce the receipt during the bid opening.

5.      Bidders should prepare their offer in a wax-sealed envelope and deposit in the box situated at 3^rd floor Room No. 320 on or before July 8, 2008 at 5:00 P.M.

6.      Bids will be opened in the presence of interested bidders or their representatives at ETC (Fixed line) Legehar Building 4^th floor Room No. 420 on July 9, 2008 at 4:00 P.M.

7.      The Corporation reserves the right to reject all or part of the bid.
