1. Bahir
Dar City Service has allocated budget for the construction of the
asphalt concrete road found in the city; from DEPO to NOC.
2. The
work under this contract includes construction of asphalt concrete
road with pedestrian walkway.
3. Bahir
Dar City Service now invites bidders, which fulfill the following
requirements to submit wax-sealed bids for the construction of the
road.
4. Certificate
of registration from the Ministry of Works and Urban Development
with category GC-1 Or RC-1.
5. Valid
trading license for the current year and suppliers registration
certificate; and
6. Tax:
clearance certificate and VAT Registration
7. Bidding
will be conducted through National competitive Bidding (NCB)
procedure specified in the bidding documents, and is open to all
eligible bidders.
8. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the
bidding documents at the Bahir Dar City Service office room number
38 Tel. -0582208062 from 8:30 to 12:30 AM and 1:30 to 5:30 PM.
9. A
compete set of the bidding documents in English may be purchased by
interested eligible bidders starting from the 1st day of
announcement on news paper up to 7th day at the Bahir Dar
City Service Office Room Number 38 up on presentation of the same
address and upon payment of non-refundable fee of Birr 1000 (One
Thousand).
10. Bids
must be delivered to the Bahir Dar City Service Office Room number
29 on or before 7th day of this notice up to 2:30 PM.
11. Number
of copies of bids to be submitted: Each wax-sealed one original, two
copies and bid security together should in one bid envelope.
12. Bid
must be accompanied by a bid security of ETB 1% of the bid amount in
any acceptable form.
13. Late
bids will be rejected.
14. Bids
will be opened at 3:00 PM on 7th day of this notice at
the Bahir Dar City Service Office Room Number 29, in the presence of
bidders and/or their representatives who choose to attend (If not
working day, it will postponed to the next working day)
15. The
Bahir Dar City Service its right to reject any or all bids.
