Description

To all Elector Mechanical contractors with valid license for this year

1.      The Jimma University had funds within the Employer’s budget to be used for the procurement of Medium & low voltage underground cable system (Installation layout) works at Jimma

2.      The Jimma University invites sealed bids from eligible bidders of Electro-mechanical for Installation works stated in No.1.

3.      Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open National tendering procedures contained in the Public Procurement Proclamation of the Federal Government of Ethiopia and in open to all eligible bidders.

4.      Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Construction Design Share Company and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 7 (a) from 8:30 hrs to 16:30 hrs local time.

5.      A complete set of Bidding documents may be purchased as of Sene 11, 2000 E.C. by interested eligible bidders on submission of a written application, VAT registration certificate, Ministry of Works & Urban Development, Trade License & Bid participation supporting letter at the address below at 7 b & upon payment of non-refundable fee Birr 773.

6.      Bids must be delivered to the address below at 7 (c) at or before 12:00 hrs, Hamle 11, 2000 E.C. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Ethiopian Birr 100,000 payable at first demand. Bids will be opened in presence of the bidders/ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 7 (d) at 14:30 hrs Hamle 11, 2000 E.C.

7.      a) Documents may be inspected at: Construction Design Share Company, Studio II, Block No. 4, (Tel. 011 442 33 74 Or 011 442 08 00 Ext. 225 Or 112)

e) The bidders are instructed to submit all copies of the bid in five inner envelopes i.e. the (Technical Proposal, Financial Offer, and Bid Security) and one outer envelope, duly marking the inner envelopes as Original” and “Financial Offer.”

f) The Jimma University has the right to reject any or all bids.
