1. The
Ministry of Education has funds within the Employer’s budget
to be used for the procurement of Maintenance and modification
works of Workshops in
Tegbared TVET College at Addis Ababa.
2. The
Ministry of Education invites sealed bids from eligible
bidders stated here in above.
3. Bidding
will be conducted in accordance with the open National tendering
procedures contained in the Public Procurement Proclamation of the
Federal Government of Ethiopia and is open to all eligible
bidders.
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from Construction
Design Share Company and inspect the bidding documents at the
address given below at 7(a) from 8:30 hrs to 16:30 hrs local time.
5. A
complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased as of Sene
12, 2000 E.C. by interested eligible bidders on submission of
a written application, VAT registration certificate, Ministry of
Works & Urban Development, Trade License & Bid participation
Supporting letter at the address below at 7(b) & upon payment of
a non-refundable fee Birr 494.00.
6. Bids
must be delivered to the address below at 7(c) at or before 12:00
hrs, Hamle 15,2000 E.C. All bids must be accompanied by a bid
security of Ethiopian Birr 15,000.00 payable at first demand. Bids
will be opened in the presence of the bidders/representatives who
choose to attend at the address below at 7(d) at 14:30 hrs. Hamle
15,2000 E.C.

duly marking the inner envelopes as “ORIGINAL” and “COPIES” both for
the “The Technical Proposal” and “Financial Offer.”
f) The Ministry of Education has the
right to reject any or all bids.
