1. The
Addis Ababa University,
Medical Faculty has funds
within the Employer’s budget to be used for the procurement of
Library Complex Building for Medical Faculty Campus
2. Addis
Ababa University, Medical Faculty invites sealed bids from eligible
bidders of GC/BC class One.
3. Bidding
will be conducted in accordance with the open tendering procedures
contained in the Public Procurement Proclamation of the Federal
Government of Ethiopia and is open to all eligible bidders.
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from Construction
Design Share Company and inspect the bidding documents at the
address given below at 7(a) from
9:00 A.M. to 16:30 P.M.
local time.
5. A
complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased as of Sene
13/2000 by interested eligible bidders on submission of a WRITTEN
APPLICATION VAT REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE MINISTRY OF WORKS AND URBAN
DEVELOPMENT REGISTRATION CERTIDICATE, TRADE LICENSE & TAX CLEARANCE
CERTIFICATE at the address below at 7(b). and up on payment non
refundable fee of 1,885 Birr.
6. Bids
must be delivered to the address below at 7(c) or before
12:00 A.M. hrs. All bids must be
accompanied by a bid security 100,000.00 Birr payable at first
demand. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders/representatives who
choose to attend at the address below at 7(d)

e) The bidder shall seal Original,
Bid security and all copies of the bid in five inner envelopes i.e.
(Technical proposal, Financial Offer and Bid security) and one outer
envelope, duly marking the inner envelopes as “ORIGINAL” and
“COPIES” both for the “The Technical Proposal” and “Financial
Offer”. Copy documents should be photocopy of the original bid
document.
8. The
employer has the right to reject any or all bids.
Not to offer two or more AAU projects
for a single contractor
9. Partial
rebate, like fixed sum and rebate on some items is not acceptable.
