1. The
Tercha Town Water Board (TWB) now invites sealed bids from eligible
and qualified bidders for the construction of civil works and supply
installation of pipes and fittings at Tercha Town. The construction
complete within maximum of 60 calendar days.
2. The
bid shall be open to all bidders having GC/WC grade 7 and above
whose license is valid and renewed for the year 2000 E.C.
3. Bidding
will be conducted through the national competitive bidding (NCB)
procedures specified in the procurement guideline of the World Bank.
4. A
complete set of bidding document shall be obtained from Tercha Town
Water Supply Service Office No. 04 up on payment of a non-refundable
fee of Birr 100.00.
5. All
bids must accompanied by a bid security amounting 2% of the total
bid price, in the form of CPO or bank guarantee. Insurance bond is
not acceptable.
6. Bids
shall be prepared in one original and two copies, all sealed in
separate envelopes, and must be delivered to Tercha Town Water
Supply Service Office No. 04.
7. Bids
shall be submitted to address indicated above on 30th day
time 12:00 A.M. starting from the announcement date, of this tender
on The Ethiopian Herald Newspaper, bid will be opened on the
presence of bidders or their representatives on the same date as
above at 2:00 P.M. at TTWS Office. If 30th day public
holiday, bids shall be opened on the next working day.
8. Interested
eligible bids may obtain further information from Tercha (TWB) and
Tercha Town Water Supply Service Office, Tel. 047-345 04 56/93.
9. The
client reserves the right to reject all or part of the bid.
