1. The
Ministry of Water Resources has received a loan form the African
Development Bank towards the Construction of Koga Small buildings in
the Amhara National Regional State, West
Gojjam Zone and intends to invite eligible bidders to submit
wax-sealed bids.

7. Information
to be written on the envelop: Not to be opened except in the
presence of the bid opening committee.
8. Bidders
are required to submit renewed license from appropriate Government
agency for 2000 Ethiopian fiscal year and VAT registration
certificate while purchasing the bids.
9. Interested
bidders may be obtain further information from the same office.
10. Bids
shall be valid for a period of 90 days from the date of bid opening
and must be accompanied by a bid security of Birr 50,000.00 (Birr
Fifty Thousand) or its equivalent in a freely convertible currency
in the form of C.P.O. or Bank guarantee to the above office on or
before July 30, 2008 at 12:00 and will be opened on the same
day at 3:00 P.M. local time in the presence of interested bidders
who wish to attend in Room Nr. 211 Ministry of Water Resources.
11. Government
owned enterprise may participate in the bids if they are legally and
financially autonomous and operate under the commercial law and are
not dependent to the employer.
12. Qualified
domestic contractors may receive a margin of performance of 10%
during bid evaluation.
13. Late
bids will be rejected.
14. Ministry
of Water Resources reserves the right to reject all or any of the
bids.
