Invitation to Express Interest in
Consultancy Service of
Road Project (International Competitive Bidding)
The Federal
Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (FDRE) has applied for a loan from
the Kuwait Fund towards the rehabilitation of
Wulkro-Adigrat-Zalambessa Road Project and intends to apply this
loan to eligible payments for the Consultancy Services for the
Construction Supervision of the project. The Ethiopian Roads
Authority now invites suitably qualified bidders to submit sealed
expressions of interest for the subject Services. Expressions of
interest will be evaluated in accordance with the Fund’s Guidelines.
Participation is
open to Kuwaiti and Ethiopian bidders or Joint Venture between them,

the subject Services. Expressions of interest will be evaluated in

Ethiopian Roads Authority in three copies.
The expression
of interest shall comprise the following information:
Experiences of road projects with
pavement type, length in km and all other necessary descriptions.
Annual turnover
Permanent personnel related to the
service
Company establishment (Technical and
Managerial Organization of the firm, Brochures, Office, Vehicles,
Material Laboratory, Computers, Software, Surveying Equipment and
Core business and year in the business), and;
Eligibility documents
Expressions of
interest must be delivered to the address below at or before July
11, 2008 at 4:30 P.M. Late submissions shall be rejected.
