The
International Rescue Committee (ICR) has received funds from the
Office For Disaster Assistance for the implementation of Water
Supply, Sanitation and Hygiene project in Degehabour and Korhane
Zones, Somali Region, which includes the provision of water to rural
communities, In order to achieve the objectives of this program,
two electric submersible pumps and two disel generator sets are
required.
1. IRC
now invites sealed bids (one original and one copy) form eligible
bidders (having valid trade license for the current FY) for the
supply of two electric submersible pumps and two diesel generator.
2. Bidding
will be conducted through an open competitive tender process.
3. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from the
International Rescue Committee, TK International Building, Bole
Road, P.O. Box 107, Code 1110, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Telephone No.
01-636735 Or 636 73 56 Or 636 73 57, Fax. No. 011-662 00 19.
4. A
complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by
interested bidders from IRC office during working hours from Tuesday
1st July 2008 to Thursday 10th July 2008 at
the address above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB
50.00 (Fifty ETB). The method of payment will be in cash and the
prospective bidder shall present his company’s name, copy of the
license and sing to acknowledge receipt of the bid documents.
5. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid bon of 1 (One) % of the bid amount
in the form of an irrevocable Bank Guarantee or Insurance Bond and
submitted to the International Rescue Committee at the address
mentioned in Paragraph 3 above on or before 10:00 A.M. Friday 11th
July 2008. Late bids will be rejected.
6. Bids
will be opened in the presence of Bidders or their authorized
representatives at 11:00 A.M. Friday 11th July 2008 at
the IRC Office Conference Room. 6th Floor, TK
International building. Bole Road, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
7. The
International Rescue Committee reserves the right to reject the
whole or part of any or all bids. |
