Textile Share Company located in the town of Kombolcha, South Wollo
Administration Zone, 380 Km North east of Addis Ababa invites all
interested and eligible bidders to participate in a bid for the
supply of the following goods and services.
I.
Lot No. 1: SPINNING SECTION
Supply of brand new machinery,
equipment, accessories & auxiliaries for the production of 13,000
kg/day carded yarn, 100% cotton, with average count of Nm 40.65.
Reconditioning of 50% of the existing
Air conditioning stations and control Units of Spinning section.
Reconditioning of existing air
conditioning unit of Textile Laboratory.
Supply of separate parts & Technical
documents.
Training of Purchaser’s personnel
Erection, commissioning and
performance test for the above supply.
II.
Lot No. 2: Weaving section
Supply of brand new Weaving Looms,
accessories & auxiliaries for the production of 30,500 picks/day
(19,700 mtrs/day)
Reconditioning of 50% of the existing
air conditioning stations & control units of weaving section.
Supply of spare parts & Technical
documents.
Training of Purchaser’s personnel
Erection, commissioning, and
performance test for the above supply.
III.
Lot No. 3: Finishing section
Supply of Textile Processing m/cs
comprising cold pad batch, printing m/c, stender m/c & Utility
Equipment including accessories, auxiliaries & spare part.
Erection, commissioning, and training
of personnel for the above installation.
1. Interested
and eligible bidders can obtain the bidding documents form the
following address, during office hours against a non-refundable
payment of Birr 1,000 from the date of announcement of this Bid on
The Ethiopian Herald.

2. This
Invitation For Bid has been opened for sole Manufacturers of the
process machines mentioned under Lot No. 1, Lot No. 2 & Lot No. 3.
3. Bids
should be submitted along with a bid bond amounting to 2% of the
total value offered in the form of cash, CPO or Commercial Bank
guarantee in the name of Kombolcha Textile Share Company, to be
valid 90 (ninety) days after bid opening.
4. The
bid shall remain valid for a period of 90 (ninety) days after the
date of bid opening.
5. Bidders
should submit their offer in a wax-sealed envelope as per the
Institution to Bid to the address mentioned in point “1” above (from
Kombolcha Textile S.C. Branch Office, Addis Ababa) before the
closing date of the tender which is 45 days after the first
announcement of this bid on The Ethiopian Herald .
6. Bids
shall be opened at Branch office,
Addis Ababa, at the address
mentioned in point “1” above in the presence of bidders or their
legal representatives at 4:00 A.M. in the morning at the day next to the closing date.
7. Kombolcha
Textile Share Company reserves the right to accept or reject any or
all bids.
