Drillers of Category II and above with valid license for the current
year.
1. Jimma University has funds within the
Employer’s budget to be used for procurement of Rehabilitation of
boreholes with the provision of necessary equipment material and
labor under this contract all with the terms and conditions of the
tender documents.
2.
Jimma University invited sealed bids
from eligible bidders for drilling contractors of category II and
above.
3.
Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open
National tendering procedures contained in the Public Procurement
Proclamation of the Federal Government of Ethiopia and is
open to all eligible bidders.
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from Construction
Design Share Company and inspect the bidding documents at the
address given below at 7(a) from
8:30 hrs to 16:hr
local time.
5. A
complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased as of Sene 4,
2000 E.C. by interested eligible bidders on submission of a
written application , VAT registration certificate, Ministry of
Works & Urban Development, Trade License at the address below at
7b & upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 617.
6. Bids
must be delivered to the address below at 7(c) or before
12:00 A.M. on Hamle 3, 2000 E.C.
All bids must be
accompanied by a bid security of 5,000 payable at first demand and
address to the Employer. Bids will be opened in the presence of the
bidders/representatives who choose to attend at the address below at
7(d) at 2:30 P.M. on Hamle 3, 2000
E.C.

for the “The Technical Proposal” and
"Financial Offer.”
f) Jimma University has the right to
reject any or all
