1. The
Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received a loan from the
International Development Association toward the cost of Public
Sector Capacity Building Program, and it intends to apply part of
the proceeds of this to payments under the Contract for It
Equipment.
2. The
Gambella Regional State Capacity Building Bureau now invites sealed
bids from eligible bidders for the following goods.

3. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain information from Gambella Regional State
Capacity Building Bureau, procurement section, Tel. 047-551 15 66
Gambella and inspect the bidding documents at the address below.
4. Qualifications
requirements include: license valid for the year 2000 and required a
VAT certificate. Additional details are provided in the Bidding
Documents.
5. A
complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by
interested bidders on the submission of a written Application to the
address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 100.
The method of payment will be in cash or certified check.
6. Bids
must be delivered at 10:00 A.M. on 03/08/2000 E.C. to the address
below. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the
presence of the bidders/representatives who choose to attend in
person at 10:30 A.M. on 03/08/2000 E.C. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of 10,000.00 All IT
Equipments in the form of a bank guarantee/certified check/cash
payment order valid for 30 days beyond the validity of the bid.

8. The
offer should be valid for 60 days from the bid submission date.
9. The
Bureau reserves the right to reject any or al bids.
