The Jimma University sealed bids from
eligible suppliers for the supply of LABORATORY and
HOSPITAL EQUIPMENTS for JIMMA UNIVERSITY SPECIALIZED HOSPITAL.
1. Eligible
bidders should have business license valid for the current year and
copy of Registration certificate from the Ministry of Finance and
Economic Development and Supporting letter from inland revenue
Authority, and VAT registration (for local bidders).
2. RFP
documents and detail information can be obtained from Jimma University liaison office in
Addis Ababa during office hours up on payment of a non-refundable
fee of Birr 100 (One Hundred Birr).
3. All
bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond amount of birr 20,000 (Twenty
Thousand) furnished by certified cheque (C.P.O) issued by a domestic
Bank in the name of Jimma University.
4. The
delivery place is at Jimma University Specialized Hospital store and
price should be quoted accordingly purchasing main division office
at Jimma Town on or before March 28, 2008

5. Bid
reply shall be put tender box prepared for this purpose at the Jimma University main campus,
purchasing main division office at Jimma Town on or before March 28, 2008
G.C. at 10:00 A.M. local time. Bids received after the closing time will be automatically
rejected.
6. Bids
will be opened in the presence of interested bidders or their
representatives on the same date March 28, 2008. G.C at 10:00 A.M.
local time. Bids received after the closing time will be
automatically rejected
7. Jimma University reserves the right to
reject all or parts of this bid.
