Re-Invitation for Bids
1. Lake
Tana Transport Enterprise hereby invites sealed bids from eligible
bidders for the supply of two water cooled diesel engines
with twin disk marine gear transmission for direct shaft boat
propulsion system and installation and mounting of the same on the
boats as specified in the technical specifications.
2. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from Lake Tana
Transport Enterprise and inspect the bidding documents at the
address below during office hours from Monday to Thursday morning
8:00 A.M.-12:00 Noon and Afternoon 1:00 P.M. -5:00 P.M. and Friday
Morning 8:00 A.M. -11:30 A.M. and Afternoon 1:30 P.M. -5:00 P.M.
3. A
complete set of bidding documents in English language may be
purchased by interested bidders at the address below and upon
payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 50.00 (Birr Fifty only) for
all items from the office of Lake Tana Transport Enterprise No. 12
4. Bids
must be delivered to Lake Tana Transport Enterprise at or before
April 31, 2008 at 2:30 P.M. All bids must be accompanied by bid security of 1% of the total bid
price in the form of CPO or Bank guarantee. Late bids shall be
rejected.
5. The
bid opening date and hour shall be April 31, 2008 at 3:30 P.M. at Lake Tana Transport Enterprise, Room No. 12 in the presence of the
bidders/representatives who choose to attend.
6. The
purchaser reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
