1. The
Adama City Administration now invites contractors of category
GCI/BC 1 wax-sealed bids from eligible bidders for furnishing the
necessary material, labor and equipment for the construction and
completion of the Abebe Bikila International Stadium at Adama.
2. Interested
bidders shall submit an expression of interest to the Adama City
Administration, Office of the Mayor at Adama.
3. A
Contractor will be selected under Quality-and Cost-Based Selection
procedures described in the Bidding document.
4. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by any interested
eligible bidder at Adama City Administration office Number 19
against a non-refundable fee of Birr 5,000 (Five Thousand).
Additional set of bidding documents may be purchased at the same
price, interested bidders may obtain further information from, and
inspect the bidding documents at the above office.
5. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of certified
cheque or a Bank Guarantee of Birr 100,000 (One Hundred Thousand)
Bids must be delivered to Adama City Administration on or before 21
April 2008 at 14:00 hours, at which time the Technical proposal will
be opened in the presence of the bidders who wish to attend. Bids
shall be valid for a period of ninety days after bid opening.
6. The
Financial proposal of bidders who pass the qualification criteria
shall be opened, in the presence of the bidders who wish to attend,
on 30 June 2008 at 14:00 hours.
7. The
Adama City Administration reserves the right to accept or reject any
or all bids.
