GC/BC CLASS 5 AND ABOVE WITH VALID LICENSE FOR THE CURRENT YEAR.
1. The
Education Materials Production & Distribution Enterprise has funds
within the Employer’s budget to be used for the procurement of Store
Remaining Work at, Addis Ababa.
2. Educational
Materials Production & Distribution Enterprise invites sealed bids
from eligible bidders of GC/BC Class 5 and above.
3. Bidding
will be conducted in accordance with the open tendering procedures
contained in the Public Procurement Proclamation of the Federal
Government of Ethiopia and is open to all eligible bidders.
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from Construction
Design Share Company and inspect the bidding documents at the
address given below at 7(a) from 9:00 A.M. to 16:30 P.M. local time.
5. A
complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased as of Yakatiti
24, 2000 by interested eligible bidders on submission of a WRITTEN
APPLICATION, VAT REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE, MINISTRY OF WORKS AND
URBAN DEVELOPMENT REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE, TRADE LICENSE & TAX
CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE at the address below at 7(b). And upon payment
of non-refundable Fee of 765 birr.
6. Bids
must be delivered to the address below at 7(c) or before 12 A.M.
hrs. All bids must be accompanied buy a bid security 50,000.00 Birr
payable at first demand. Bids will be opened in the presence of the
bidders/representatives who choose to attend at the address below at
7(d) 14:00 P.M. hrs Megabit 24, 2000 E.C.

(e) The bidder shall seal the
Original, Bid security and all copies of the bid in five inner
envelopes i.e. (Technical proposal, Financial Offer and Bid
security) and one outer envelope, duly marking the inner envelopes
as ‘ORIGIANL” and “COPIES” both for the “The Technical proposal” and
“Financial Offer”. Copy documents should be photo copy of the
original bid document.
(f) The employer has the right to
reject any or all bids.
Partial rebate, like fixed sum and
rebate on some items is not acceptable
