1. The
Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received a loan from the
African Development Bank in Various currencies to wards the cost of
Education III Project and it is intended that part of the proceeds
of this will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for
procurement of Education Materials for the Harari People National
Regional. State Education Bureau.
2. The
Harari People National State Education Bureau now invites sealed
bids from eligible bidders for the supply of computer, for two
primary schools which are under New Construction.
3. Interested
eligible bidder may obtain further information from and inspect the
bidding documents at the Office of Harari Education Bureau, Planning
and Programming Service Room No. 11,
4. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested
bidders on the submission of a written application to the above
address and upon payments of a non-refundable fee of Eth. Birr 150
(One Hundred Fifty Birr).
5. The
provisions in the instruction to bidders and in the general
Condition of contract are the provisions of the African Development
Bank standard Bidding Documents procurement of goods.
6. Bids
must be delivered to above office on or before 2:30 June 16, 2008
and must be accompanied by bid security of not less than 1% of the
bid amount.
7. Bidders
should presence currently 2007-2008 renewed licenses and in addition
local suppliers are required to present registration certificate and
VAT Registration certificate.
8. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders/representatives who choose
to attend in the presence of bidders/representatives who choose to
attend in the presence of bidders/representatives who choose to
attend at 3:00 PM June 16, 2008 at the head of the Education Bureau.
