IFB No.:-NCB/TRHB/ Drugs, Medical Supplies and
Medical Equipment/1-2008
1. The
Tigray National Regional State Health Bureau has intended to
purchase drugs and medical supplies by the fund received from the
Tigray Regional Health Bureau. And it intends to apply part of the
proceeds of this budget to payment under the contract for the
procurement of drugs and medical supplies.
2. The
Tigray Regional Health Bureau now invites sealed bids from eligible
bidders for the supply of:
Lot I-Drugs & Medical Supplies for
TRHB.
3. Bidders
should note that items are grouped in one lot only. Bidders have the
option to bid for any of the items and bids will be evaluated and
contract awarded on an item basis. Bidders should put their price
quotation on the original or copy of the document, which bears the
bureau’s seal.
4. Delivery
time for all products shall be 15 days from the date of contractual
agreement.
5. Bidding
will be conducted through the national competitive bidding
procedures specified in the Government Procurement Guidelines.
Product registration Certificate form Drug Administration & Control
Authority (DACA) will be taken as pre-qualifying criteria. Local
Importers/Wholesalers and local manufacturers shall provide renewed
trade license, Renewed wholesale/Import registration Certificate,
letter from Inland revenue Administration, Registration Certificate
form MOFED and shall indicate the VAT numbers.
6. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information form and inspect the
bidding documents at the Office of Tigray Regional Health Bureau,
Department of Logistics, Procurement & Supply Division, No. 1, Tel.
0344-41 60 58 Or 034 4-41 60 27 and Fax 0344-40 88 30, Mekelle,
Tigray.
7. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested
bidders on submission of a written application to the above
mentioned address and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr
300.00 (Three Hundred Birr) starting from May 5, 2008 to June 5,
2008.
8. Bids
must be delivered to the above address on or before 2:00 P.M. June 5, 2008 and must be
accompanied by a bid security of Birr 10,000.00 (Ten Thousand Birr
only) in the form of C.P.O. only. Insurance bon is not accepted. And
lat bids will be rejected.
9. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders/representatives who choose
to attend at 2:30 P.M. on June 5, 2008 at the Office of Procurement and Supply Division of Regional Health
Bureau, Mekelle, Tigray.
10. Bidders
are required to fill all necessary details.
11. The
Bureau reserves the right to reject the bid fully or partially.
