contractors of category WC-4/GC-4/BC-4 and above with license valid
for the year 2000 E.C.
1. The
Government of FDRE has obtained a Grant from the German Financial
Cooperation (KfW) for financing the “Urban Development Fund” (UDF).
Portion of this fund has been allocated for Hawasa City
Administration, by the National Steering Committee, towards the
costs of Construction Work.
2. The
Hawasa City Administration invites sealed bids from eligible bidders
for furnishing the necessary labour, material, equipment and
services for the construction of HAWASA STORM WATER DRAINAGE
PROJECT.
3. The
work offer mainly consists of the following components:
Construction of masonry lined channel
with slab cover
Construction of culvers
Construction of stone masonry outfall structure
4. Bidders
must have a valid registration certificate from Ministry of Works
and Urban Development or/and Ministry of Water and must be
registered for VAT.
5. Interested

6. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased against payment
of Birr 400.00.
7. The
tender must be accompanied by a Tender security in an amount of Birr
100,000.00 in the form specified in ITB.
8. Bid
shall be delivered to the address given below or on before 2:00 P.M.

9. Bids
will be opened at the same day, at 2:00 P.M. on the presence of the bidders or representative who wish to attend at

10. Bid
shall be valid for a period of Ninety (90) days after Bid opening

Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
