INVITATION FOR CONSULTANCY SERVICES
THE FEDERAL DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF
ETHIOPIA PRIVATIZATION AND PUBLIC
ENTERPRISES  SUPERVISING AGENCY (PPESA)

The Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received a grant from the African Development Fund, herinafter referred to as the “ADF”, in various currencies towards the Privatization Technical Assistance Project and intends to apply a portion of the proceeds of this grant to eligible payments to upgrade the network of the Privatization and Public Enterprises Supervising Agency (PPESA), through individual experts.

PPESA, acting as duly representative of the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, hereinafter referred as “the Employer”, now invites individual experts with extensive experience in the design, installation and operation of Local and Wide Area Networks (LAN and WAN) to submit their technical and financial proposals to upgrade the Agency’s network.

Interested individual with the requisite experience in assignments from eligible source countries are herewith invited to purchase the Letter of Invitation from the address given below from 9:00 hours local time on local working days upon payment of Birr 100 (Birr One Hundred only):

It is emphasized that this assignment is for the engagement of individual experts only. Sub-contracting of the technical elements of the assignment to other individual experts is permitted and should be reflected in the proposal. Corporate consultancies or agencies need not apply.

Bids must be delivered to the address given above on or before 16:00 hours local time on 24 November 2008.

Bids will be opened on 24 November 2008 at 16:15 hours local time in the presence of bidders or their legal representatives in the conference room of PPESA, room No. 509, 5^th Floor, Bole Road, Addis Ababa.

PPESA reserves the right to accept to reject part or any bid and to annul the bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to contract award.
