Information and Communication Technology Assisted Development

IDA Credit Number 3985-ET
1. The
Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received Credit from the
International Development Association (IDA) toward the cost of
Information and Communication Technology Assisted Development
(ICTAD) Project, and it intends to apply a portion of the fund to
eligible payment under the contract for which this RFP is issued.
2. The
Ethiopian ICT Development Agency, Information and Communications
Technology Assisted Development Project now invites separate and
sealed Technology and Financial Proposals from eligible bidders for
the provision of the following Consultancy Services:
Database
Management Training
More details on
the service are provided in the Terms of Reference.
3. A
firm will be selected under the Quality and Cost Based selection
procedures described in this RFP, in accordance with the World
Bank’s Guidelines on the Selection and Employment of Consultants,
dated May 2004.
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from Ethiopian ICT
Development Agency; Information and Communication Technology
Assisted Development (IDTAD) Project and inspect the Request for
Proposal Documents during working days and hours from 8:30 A.M. to
12:30 and from 1:30 P.M. to 5:30 P.M. at the address given
below.
5. Qualifications
requirements and additional details are provided in the Request for
Proposal.
6. A
complete set of Request for Proposal in English language may be
purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written
Application to the address below and upon payment of a
non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr 50.00 (Fifty Birr).
7. Proposals
must be delivered to the address below at or before
2:00 P.M. December 15, 2008.
Electronic bidding will not be
permitted. Late bids will be rejected.
