ETHIOPIAN COMMODITY EXCHANGE
Rural Capacity Building Project

1. The
Government of Ethiopia has received Credit from International
Development Association (IDA) for Rural Capacity Building Project
and intends to apply part of funds to cover eligible payments under
the contract for Civil Work Construction of Electronic Price Ticker
Stand and its mounting at different sites of the country.
2. The
Ethiopia Commodity Exchange now invites sealed bids (National
Competitive Bid) from qualified eligible bidders for the
construction of Electronic Price Ticker Stand and its mounting at
different sites of the country. The Project comprises, the
Construction of the Stand for Electronic Price Ticker and so mount
securely a 2000mm (L)* 1500mm (W)* 150mm LED (Light-Emitting
Diode) display at 60 different sites across Ethiopia.
3. Bidders
must obtain valid license for current year and VAT registration
certificate.
4. Bids
shall be valid for the period of (90) ninety days after bid opening.
5. Bids
must be accompanied by Bid security of Birr 60,000.00 (Sixty
Thousand).
6. A
complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased from
Ethiopia Commodity Exchange, Alsam Chelek Tower 2, 3rd
floor up on payment of non-refundable fee Birr 100.00 (One Hundred)
by the interested bidders on submission of a written application to
the address indicated below.
7. Bids
shall be submitted on or before 10;00 AM December 16, 2008 and shall
be opened at 10:30 AM on the same date in the presence of bidders
who wish to attend at the following address:

8. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the
bidding document at the address mentioned above from 8:30 AM to
12:30 P.M. 1:30 P.M. to 5:30 P.M. from Monday to Friday.
9. The
Ethiopian Commodity Exchange reserves the right to reject any and/or
all bids. |
