2. Interested
eligible Bidders may obtain further information from:

3. A
complete set of the Bidding Document can be purchased by any
interested bidders from the date of first announcement upon payment
of a non-refundable fee of Birr 100.00 (One Hundred Birr)
4. Bidders
should submit currently renewed license, VAT certificate and
supplier’s registration certificate from Ministry of Finance.
5. All
Bids must be accompanied by bid security not less than 1% of total
bid amount. The bid bond must be in one of the following forms.
I. Cash II. Certified Cheque (CPO) issued by a recognized domestic
bank or Bond issued and/or confirmed though a recognized domestic
Bank.
6. The
Bank that issues the bond as per 5.II here above shall
unequivocally guarantee to pay the purchaser immediately upon the
first written demand of payment. The purchaser’s written demand of
payment shall not be subject to any condition whatsoever.
7. The
bond-issuing bank shall clearly incorporate the content stated under
item 6 here in above on the issued bond.
8. The
bid bond shall be separately enclosed and submit to our Finance
Division against receipt.
9. Bidders
should submit their offer in a wax-sealed envelope (i.e. technical
and financial proposal separately) with two copies to AACRA’s Head
Office on December 02, 2008 at 10:00 AM. Bid will be opened in the presence of interested bidders or their
representatives on the same date and time at AACRA’s Head Office.
Addis
Ababa City Roads Authority reserves the right to reject any or all
bids. |
