Ethiopian Radio
and Television Agency invites interested and eligible International
bidders to bid under two stage bidding procedure for the Supply and
installation of Digital Audio Visual Library (Archive) system
facilities and associated equipment.
1. The
bidder should furnish the Archive system on Turnkey basis Including
the inspection, design, supply of complete Digital Audio Video
Library (Archive) system equipment, installation of equipment,
commissioning, guarantee services until final acceptance and
personal training.
2. Two
Stage Bidding Procedure
2.1
A Two stage bidding procedure will be followed.
a)
A revised Technical Proposal incorporating all changes
required by the Client to bring the Techncial bid up to an
acceptable level.
b)
The commercial Bid
2.2
Bidders should prepare their first stage technical proposal
in two copies of wax-sealed envelopes and placed in the tender box
resolved for this purpose at Ethiopian Television building located
near National Bank or Ethiopia on or before Dec. 18, 2008 at 10:00
A.M. in the morning.
2.3
The Second Stage Bid must be placed in the tender box
reserves for this purpose at the date and time to be announced when
commercial Bids are invited.
3. Local
bidders or agents must produce their evidence of currently renewed
license that they have paid up all government taxes, Certificate
from Ministry of Finance Specifying that they have registered in
Suppliers list, VAT registration certificate from inland Revenue
Authority & Performance certificate and experience in similar work.
4. Bids
should be submitted along with a bid bond amounting to Birr 70,000
(Seventy Thousand) issued in favor of Ethiopian Television by first
class Bank in the form of certified Bank check or Bank Guarantee.
5. Bidders
can obtain bid documents from Ethiopian Radio and Television Agency,
Ethiopian Television 12th floor room No. 1223 during
office hours against payment of non-refundable Birr 200 (Two Hundred
Birr).
6. Any
bidder that would not fulfill at the mentioned conditions shall be
rejected.
7. Tender
envelopes should be marked “Bid for the Supply of Digital Audio
Visual Library (Archive0 system for T. No 09/2001. Bids shall be
opened on Dec. 18, 2008 at 10:05 AM in the morning in the presence of bidder or their legal representatives
at Ethiopian Radio & Television
Building in Studio B.
