Description

To: ALL CONTRACTORS OF CATEGORY GC/BC CLASS 4 AND ABOVE WITH VALID LICENSE FOR THE CURRENT YEAR.

1.      The Ethiopian Radiation Protection Authority has funds within the Employer’s budget to be used for the procurement of Radio Active Waste Storage Facility Buildings

2.      The Ethiopian Radiation Protection Authority invites sealed bids from eligible bidders of GC/BC class 4 & above.

3.      Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open tendering procedures contained in the Public Procurement Proclamation of the Federal Government of Ethiopia and is open to all eligible bidders.

4.      Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Construction Design Share Company and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 7(a) from 9:00 A.M. to 16:30 P.M. local time.

5.      A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased as of Hidar 16/2001 by interested eligible bidders on submission of a WRITTEN APPLICATION, VAT REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE, MINISTRY OF WORKS AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE, TRADE LICENSE & TAX CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE at the address below at 7(b) and up on payment non-refundable fee of 1080.00 Birr.

6.      Bids must be delivered to the address below at 7(c) on or before 10:00 A.M. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security 100,000.00 birr payable on first demand. Bid wills will be opened in the presence of the bidders/representative who choose to attend at the address below at 7(d) 10:15 A.M. Tahsase 14/2001.

7.      a) Documents cab be inspected at: Construction Design Share Company, Business Unit 1 Block No.5 office No. 37 (Telephone 0114403362 Or 011442 08 00 Ext. 255).

b) Documents can be purchased at Construction Design Share Company Business Unit 1 Block No.5 Office No. 37

c) Bids must be delivered to: Construction Design Share Company, 3^rd floor tender document box; before

e) The bidder shall seal the Original, Bid security and all copies of the bid in five inner envelopes i.e. (Technical proposal, Financial Offer and Bid security) and one outer envelope, duly marking the inner envelopes as “ORIGINAL” and “COPIES” both for “The Technical Proposal” and “Financial Offer”. Copy documents should be photocopy of the original bid document.

f) The employer has the right to reject any or all bids.
     Partial rebate, like fixed sum and rebate on some
     items is not acceptable.
