1. The
SOMALI REGIONAL STATE HEALTH BUREAU invites sealed bids from
eligible bidders for the Construction of 13 Health centers projects
and Renovation of Gode Health Science College under 14 packages in
different Woredas of Somali Regional State listed below:
2. National
Contractors of category BC/GC 6 and above for package 1 up to XIII
and BC/GC 4 and above for Package XIV are eligible to bid. Bidders
are required to provide a valid trade license from the appropriate
government body and proof of registration from the Ministry of
Infrastructure, for the current fiscal year.

3. Bidding
document (and additional copies) may be purchased at SOMALI REGIONAL
STATE HEALTH BUREAU Room No. 3 Tel. (025) 775 20 22 Or 775 24 72 Or
775 28 44 for a non-refundable fee of 300 Birr for each package in
freely convertible currency on working days.
4. Bids
shall be valid for a period of 90 days after Bid opening and must be
accompanied by security of not less than 1% of the bid amount or its
equivalent in CPO or Bank Guarantee and shall be delivered to HEALTH
BUREAU OF SOMALI REGIONAL STATE on or before, December 23, 2008 up
to 10:00 A.M. local time.
5. Bids
will be opened December 23, 2008 in the presence
of those bidders or their representatives who choose to attend on
the same date and place at 10:30 A.M.
