1. The
Amhara Rural Roads Authority/ ARRA/ invites all eligible bidders to
submit bid offer for the Construction of:
Lot 1. Guder and Ankul Bridges
Lot 2. Zinjero River Bridge
Lot 3. Kabita River Bridge
Lot 4. Aguracha and Rayu River Bridges
Lot 5. Meti and Mekango River Bridges
Which are located in Lot 1 and 2 Awi,
Lot 3 in North gondar and Lot 4 & 5 North Shewa Administrative zone
respectively.
1. To
be eligible for tendering of these bridges, the contractor must be
duly registered with the Ministry Works and Urban Development, in
category GC-5/RC-5/BC-4 and above with license valid for the current
fiscal year.
2. Tenderers
are required to present certificate of Value Added Tax (VAT)
registration, Tax payer Identification Number (TIN) and also with
recent tax clearance from respective Inland Revenue Authority.
3. A
complete set of tendering documents may be purchased by interested,
eligible Tenderers from our office addressed below, on the
submission of a written application and upon payment of a
non-refundable fee of 200 (Two Hundred) Ethiopian Birr.
4. Duplicate
copies of tender with separate Technical Qualification Document and
Financial Proposal Document in wax-sealed envelopes, labeled as
Original and Copy shall be placed in the bid box accompanied by a
bid security, in an acceptable form and amount specified in the
tendering documents (not less than 2 percent of the tender price or
a maximum of 100,000) on or before Dec. 29, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at the
same address below.
5. Tender
will be opened on the same date at 2:30 P.M. in the premises of the Authority in the presence of the Tenderers or
their authorized representatives who choose to attend.
6. The
Amhara Rural Roads Authority reserves the right to reject any or all
tenders.
