Re-Bid
To All general
contractors of GC/BC 6 or above, with license valid for the year
2008.
1. The
Addis Ababa Water and Sewerage Authority (AAWSA) Water and
Sanitation; Development and Rehabilitation Project Office invites
eligible bidders for furnishing the necessary labour, material,
equipment and services for Construction of Pedestrain bridge,
Barbered wire fixed on concrete posts, Fence, and Excavation of
drainage ditches (buffer strips) at Dire dam site and construction
of fence at Gefersa dam site as well.
2. Interested
eligible bidders may purchase a bidding document upon presentation
of a renewed trade license for the year 2008 (2001 E.C.) from
Ministry of Trade and Industry, or Trade Bureaus and VAT and tax
payer’s registration certificate.
3. A
complete set of bidding Documents will be available from December 1,
2008 onwards during office hours against payment of a non-refundable
fee of Birr 200.00 (Two Hundred Birr) from the under mentioned
project office.
4. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid bond, in the form of Bank
guarantee or CPO amounting to 10,000.00 Birr (Ten Thousand Birr
only). Bid bond in any other form shall not be accepted.
5. Bids
shall be opened on December 30, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. local time at The Project Office in the presence of the bidders or
their legal representatives who choose to attend.
6. The
AAWSA, Water and Sanitation Development and Rehabilitation Project
Office reserves the right to reject any or all of the bids.
