1. The
Oromia Education Bureau has received a budget from Oromia Regional State towards the cost
of construction of five lower primary schools (Yaaballo, Arbadi,
Korele, Kikiliftu and Waltane LPS) in the districts along the border
of Oromia and Somali regions.
2. The
Oromia National Regional State Education Bureau now invites all
contractors of category general or building contractors six and
above with renewed license valid for the year 2008 for furnishing
the necessary labor, material , equipment and service for the
construction of five lower primary schools.
3. Bidding
documents may be purchased at the office of Oromia national Regional
state Education Bureau, Room No. 47, P.O. Box 8728, Tel. 251-011
44013 80 Addis Ababa, Ethiopia up on submission of written
application and a non-refundable fee of Eth. Birr 300 of (Three
Hundred Birr) for each school starting form December 1, 2008 to
December 19, 2008.
4. Bidders
may obtain further information, inspect and acquire the bidding
documents from the above.
5.
The qualification requirement shall be as per the criterion
stated in the tender document.
6. The
dead line of bid (both qualification and financial offers
independently) submission shall be on before 3:00 P.M. of December
25, 2008.
7. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security (valid for 120 calendar
days) in an acceptable form (CPO or Bank guarantee) of 2% of the bid
amount.
8. Bids
will be opened and read in the presence of bidders or their
Authorized representatives on the same day of submission of the bid
at 3:30 P.M. in OEB Hall.
9. The
construction of the work shall be completed with in a maximum of 150
calendar days from the commencement date of the work.
10. The
Oromia Education Bureau reserves the right to reject any or all
bids.
