RE-INVITATION FOR BIDS-(IFB)
FOR THE SUPPLY, DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION
OF
AIR CONDITIONING EQUIPMENT

1. The
Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received a credit form
the International Development Association (IDA) toward the cost of
PSCAP, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit
to payments under the contract for the supply, delivery and
installation of air conditioning equipment under IFB No.
MoR/P/G-09/08.
The credit
amount is US $ 100 Million.
2. The
Ethiopian Revenues and Customs Authority now invites sealed bids
from eligible bidders for the supply, delivery and installation of
the following items:-

3. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from Ethiopian
Revenue and Customs Authority Procurement team, contact person

Bidding Documents at the address below under 8:
4. The
procurement would be done following the National Competitive Bidding
(NCB) procedures.
5.
Qualification requirements include:
Bidders are
required to bid for all items (quantities). Offers below the
quantity indicated above in No.2 will not be accepted.
6. A
complete set of Bidding Documents in ENGLISH language may be
purchased by the interested bidders on the submission of a written
application to the address below and upon payment of a
non-refundable fee of Birr 30 (Thirty Birr only). The method of
payment will be in cash or equivalent.
7. Bids
must be delivered to the address below on or before 10:00 A.M. on
January 6, 2009.
Late Bids will be rejected. Bids
will be opened in the presence of the Bidders/bidder’s
representatives who choose to present in person at 10:30 A.M. on
January 6, 2009.
All bids must be accompanied by a
“Bid Security’ of Birr 5000 (Five Thousand Birr) or an equivalent
amount in foreign currency for each lot.
