RE-INVITATION

To all contractors of category GC-4/BC-4 and above with license valid for the year 2000 E.C.

1.      The Government of FDRE has obtained a Grant from the German Financial Cooperation (KfW) for financing the “Urban Development Fund” (UDF). Portion of this fund has been allocated for Gondar City Administration, by the National Steering Committee, towards the cost of Construction Work.

2.      The Gondar City Administration, Gondar City Service invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for furnishing the necessary labour, material, equipment and services for the construction of GONDAR SOLD WASTEM MANAGEMENT PROJECT.

3.      The flowing works shall be realized under this contract, which includes the construction, supply, installation, and completion of the:

        Construction of sanitary landfill
        Supply and Installation of leachate collection
        and      
        conveyance facilities
        Construction of storm drainage ditch, access
         road,      
         guard house and others

4.      Bidders must have a valid registration certificate form Ministry of Works and Urban Development and registered for VAT.

6.      Bidding documents may be purchased for a non-refundable fee of Birr 400.00.

7.      Bid shall be valid for a period of Ninety (90) days after Bid opening and must be accompanied by Bid Security of Birr 100,000.00 in the form of certified cheque or bank guarantee as specified in ITB.

8.      Bids shall be delivered to the address given below on or before 25^th of November 2008 at 2:00 P.M.

9.      Bid will be opened at the same day, at 2:00 P.M. on the presence of the bidders or representatives who wish to attend at the office.
