1. The
Government of Ethiopia has received a Grant from the African
Development Bank in various currencies to finance the cost of Water
Supply and sanitation projects. It is intended that part of the
proceeds of this grant will be applied to eligible payments under
the contract for Procurement of Generators with Accessories for
Rural Water Supply Program in the region.
2. The
Oromia Regional Water Resources Bureau now invites sealed bids from

3. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the
Bidding Documents at the office of Oromia Regional Water Resources
Bureau, Program Support Staff Office, Bole Road; 4th
floor, Room No. 403, P.O. Box 8630, Tel. No. 011-6558374 Finfinnee.
4. A
complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested
bidders on the submission of a written application, Renewed trade
license, VAT Certificate and Tax Registration Certificate to the
above mentioned address and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of
Birr 150.00.
5. Bids
must be delivered to the above office on or before 2:00 P.M.
December 9, 2008 and shall be valid for a period of Ninety (90) days
after Bid opening and must be accompanied by bid security of not
less than 2% of the total bid price in CPO. The Regional Water
Resources Bureau reserves the right to reject all or part of the
bid.
6. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders/representatives, who
choose to attend, 2:30 P.M. December 9, 2008 at Oromia Regional
Water Resources Bureau, Conference Hall, 3rd floor, Bole
Road, Finfinnee/ Addis Ababa.
