Section I: Invitation for Bids
1. The
Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation (EEPCO) has allocated budget
for the purchase of hard ware and Network materials (Router, Switch,
Network Cable, …etc)
2. The
Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation now invites sealed bids from
eligible bidder for the supply of the above-mentioned items in the
following Lot.
Lot 1 Hard ware and Networking materials
3. Interested
bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding
documents at the office of:

4. The
bid documents shall be available from EEPOC, Procurement Division,
on September 12, 2008 and a complete set of bidding document (non
transferable) in English language may be purchased by interested
Bidders at the address sated above, upon payment of a non-refundable
fee of Birr 300.00 (Birr Three Hundred), during office hours, local
time. Bidders are required to submit offers for the complete items
within the lot. Incomplete offer, within a lot, will result in the
rejection of the offer.
5. Suppliers
should have valid business licenses, VAT Registration certificate
and certificate from Ministry of Finance.
6. Bids
must be delivered to the address stated in 3 above before 12:00
hours, local time, on October 15, 2008. All bids must be accompanied
by a bid security of the amount specified in the bid data sheet.
Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of
intending bidders or their representatives who choose to attend at
EEPCO Club, Mexico Square, Addis Ababa at 8:30 hour, local time,
October 15, 2008.
7. Bidders
shall have prior considerable experience in the supply of similar
works and type of goods as required by the specific tender.
8. The
Corporation reserves the right to reject any or all the Bidders
without assigning reason thereof and is not bound to accept the
lowest Bid.
9. Bidders
are advices to submit their offer after examining the bid document
very carefully.
