1. SRS
Water Mines & Resources Development Bureau invites sealed bids from
eligible registered contractors of Category GC-5 & above the
construction of Mersin Hafir Dam & East lmiriver Intake Construction
Project.
2. Al
bidders should have a trade license and constriction service
certificate valid for 2000 Ethiopian calendar yeas, Water
construction certificate form Ministry of Water and VAT registration
certificate.
3. Interested
eligible bidder may obtain further information at the office of:

4. Each
bidder proposing to bid for this project may be purchased by any
fulfilling the requirements of the particular instruction of the
tender documents.
5. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by any interested
eligible bidder upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 200
(Two Hundred Birr) for each site.
6. The
offer envelopes shall be submitted as follows:
6.1
The original and a copy of the offer document shall be sealed
in separate envelopes and marked “Original Offer Document” and “Copy
of Offer Document” respectively each projects.
6.2
The bid security shall be sealed in a separate envelope
marked “Bid Security”.
6.3
The envelopes in 6.1 and 6.2 shall then be sealed in an outer
envelope marked “Offer Document” for each projects.
7. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Birr 1% of the
contract price bid security shall be payable on demand to the
employer, and must be an irrevocable Bank Guarantee, or a Certified
payment Order (CPO) at the bidders option.
8. Wax-sealed
envelopes containing an original and a copy of Offer and
Qualification documents should of this invitation on The Ethiopian
Herald on or before 12:00 A.M. & No liability will be accepted for
loss or late delivery.
9. You
may collect a complete set of bidding documents from the above
office, on submission of a written application to the above.
10. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders or bidders
representatives, who Choose to attend at the SRS Water, Miens &
Energy Resources Development Bureau last day of submission date
afternoon at 2:30 P.M.
11. All
bids must include 15% VAT on the summary of price separately shown.
12. Bidders
are Instructed to fill, sing and seal all the forms of the bid
documents.
Failure of this
instruction may result in automatic rejection.
13. The
sites, the Mersin & East Imi, are located in the Somali Regional
State 360Km & 920 respectively form Jijiga Town.
14. The
Bureau, RSR Water, Mines & Energy Resources Development, reserves
the right to reject any or all bids. |
