1. SRS
Water Mines & Energy Resources Development Bureau invites sealed
bids from eligible registered drilling company Grade 3 and above for
drilling of twenty two wells and Bombas town Water Supply project in
the region.
2. All
bidders should have a trade license valid for 2000 E.C. years,
Drilling certificate (for drilling), Water Construction Certificate
(for Bombass town) form Ministry of Water and VAT registration
certificate.
3. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information at the office of:

4. Each
bidder proposing to bid for this project may be purchased by any
fulfilling the requirements of the particular instruction of the
tender documents.
5. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by any interested
eligible bidder upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 200
(Two Hundred Birr) for each Lot # of drilling sites and Bombass
water supply.
6. The
offer envelopes shall be submitted as follows:
6.1
The original and copy of the offer documents shall be sealed
in separate envelopes and marked “Original Offer Document” and “Copy
of Offer Document” respectively each projects.
6.2
The bid security shall be sealed in a separate envelope
marked “Bid Security”.
6.3
The envelopes in 6.1 and 6.2 shall then be sealed in an
outer envelope marked “Offer Document” fro each projects.
7. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Birr 1% of the
contract price bid security shall be payable on demand to the
employer, and must be an irrevocable bank Guarantee, or a Certified
Payment Order (CPO) at the bidders option.
8. Wax-sealed
envelopes containing an original and a copy of Offer and
Qualification documents should be delivered to the above office 30
days after the announcement of this invitation on The Ethiopian
Herald on or before 12:00 A.M. & No liability will be acceptetd for
loss or late delivery.
9. You
may collect a complete set of bidding documents form the above
office, on submission of a written application to the above.
10. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders or bidders representatives
who choose to attend at the SRS Water, Miens & Energy Resources
Development Bureau last day of submission date mid day at 12:30 A.M.
11. All
bids must include 15% VAT on the summery of price separately shown.
12. Bidders
are instructed to fill, sign and seal all the forms of the bid
documents.
Failure of this
instruction may result in automatic rejection.
13. The
drilling sites grouped in five Lots: Lot I (Eight wells in Jijiga
town), Lot II (Five wells in Afdare Zones) Lot III. (Five wells in
Shinile Zoes), Lot IV (Four wells in Fiq Degabour & Quaraye zones)
14. The
Bureau, SRS Water, Mines & Energy Resources Development, reserves
the right to reject any or all bids. |
