for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this project
that appeared in development of Business on November 22, 2004 for
the Ethiopia Water Supply and Sanitation Program.
of Ethiopia has received financing from the World Bank towards the
cost of the Water Supply and Sanitation project and intends to apply
part of the proceeds for the development of computerized monitoring
and evaluation management information system (M&E-MIS) for water
supply, sanitation and hygiene program consultancy services. The
services include design and development of computerized M&E-MIS
software for the program; train user and system administration
staff; M&E-MIS software installation and roll out at Ministry of
Water Resources, Regional Water Resources Bureaus and representative
area to full scale in all woredas and towns.
Water Resources now invites eligible consultancy firm to indicate
their interest in providing the services. Interested consultancy
firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to
perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments,
experience in similar condition, software development experience,
availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc). Consultancy
firms may associate to enhance their qualifications.
firm will be selected in accordance with procedures set out in the
World Bank’s guidelines selection and employment of consultancy
firms by World Bank borrowers (May 2004, revised October 2006).
