For Consultancy Services
The Ethiopian
Ministry of Mines & Energy hereby invites eligible and legally
established International Consultants for the “Establishment of
Petroleum Data Base Management System (DBMS)”.
Major Tasks
include:
Draft
detailed TOR, for the various components of the
DBMS
project.
Prepared bidding documents for hiring
contractors which will undertake the DBMS tasks indicated in the TOR
and advertise the bid on national or international media.
Present a Civil & Electromechanical
design of a building which will be used for the storage of Petroleum
data (Seismic tapes, Cores and cuttings, Etc.,) and offices.
Establish facilities of data
transcription, digitization, scanning and date processing
(mini-workstation);
Follow-up of Contractor’s progress of
the work on various components o the project as per the agreed work
program; The selection method will be in accordance with the
Procedures and guidelines stated in the Bid document.

Consultants are
advised to submit their Company profile, Certified of registration,
Experience, references and Proofs of competence relevant to the
assignment. All Bid proposals must be accompanied by a bid Security
of 10,000 USD or equivalent in Eth. Birr in the form of C.P.O. or
Bank guarantee. Bid proposals should be submitted to the above given
address on or before October 25th, 2008 at 5:00 P.M. |
