Building and CATEGORY IV and ABOVE FOR SEBETA Branch Office Building
WITH VALID LICENCE FOR THE CURRENT YEAR.
1. COMMERCIAL
BANK OF EHTIOPIA (CBE) has budget to be used for the Design,
supervision and contract administration of SEBETA Branch Office
building and LIDETA branch office building of CBE.
2. Bidding
shall be conducted in accordance with the open national tender
procedure and is open to all Consulting Architecs and Engineers of
CATEGORY III AND ABOVE For Lideta Branch Office Building and
CATEGORY IV and ABOVE FOR SEBETA Branch Office Building with
renewed license and VAT Registration certificate. Bidders must
submit sealed bids for providing the necessary services and any
other necessary requirements for the design, supervision and
contract administration of SEbeta and lideta Branch Office
Buildings.

4. Each
prospective bidder proposing to bid for this project must be
eligible fulfilling the requirements of the Particular Instruction
of the Project.
5. A
Complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by any interested
eligible bidder on the submission of a written application to the
above address and payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 100/One
Hundred birr only for each starting from July 9,2009 G.C.
6. All
bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Birr 3000.00. The bid
security shall be payable on demand to the employer, and must be
Bank Guarantee, or a Cashiers Payment Order (CPO) at the bidders
option. The bid along with the bid security must be delivered to the
above address on or before July 30, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. No.
liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery.
7. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders or bidder’s
representatives who choose to attend at the office of COMMERCIAL
BANK OF EHTIOPIA on July 30, 2009 at 10:00 a.m.
8. The
employer reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive
informalities, to advertise for new bids or to proceed and do the
work otherwise as may be for its best interest.
9. All
bids must include 15% VAT (Value Added Tax) on the summary of Price.
10. Bidders
are instructed to fill, sign and seal all the forms of the bid
documents. Failure of this instruction is automatic rejection.
11. Bidders
are also instructed to participate on only one Design Project.
