Section 1-Invitation to Bid
TO: ALL contractors of category
BC/BC- class IV (FOUR) and above with license valid for the
year 2001 E.C. and can present registration certificate for
construction work service from concerned organization. The GOJJAM
DEVELOPMENT S.C. office has invited wax-sealed bids from eligible
bidders for providing the necessary labor, material and equipment
for the construction and completion of MOTEL and FUEL FILLING
STATION project at Bahir Dar.

bid document may be obtained by the short listed bidders on the

Birr 600.00 /Six Hundred only/.

2. Each
bid must be accompanied by an acceptable bid bond in the sum equal
to 1% of the bid amount, which shall remain in force for 90 calendar
days from the bid opening date and shall be in separate envelope.
The successful bidder will be
required to furnish a performance bon in the sum of 10% of the gross
bid sum with in 15 days from signature.
3. Bidders
are warned that they must read and comply in full with the
“INSTRUCTION TO BIDDERS”
4. The
construction of works shall be completed with in a maximum of 720
calendar days from the commencement of works.
5. All
bids must be submitted based on the free market price and current
basic materials price must be attached with the bid document.
6. The
priced bid document shall be in an envelopes & wax-sealed (one
original and one copy).
7. All
bid documents shall be submitted to the GOJJAM DEVELOPMENT S.C.
before 21 calendar days of the handover of this of this document at
12:00 a.m. hours and shall be publicly opened the same day and Abay Zuria Zembaba
mini & Mind public Transport Association office at
3:00 P.M. hours when the names of the
bidders and the amount of their bids will be declared. Bidders are
advised to attend the opening of bids.
8. Bidders
may obtain further information from The GOJJAM DEVELOPMENT S.C.
office on the above-mentioned address.
9. The
GOJJAM DEVELOPMENT S.C. reserves the right to reject any or all bids
without giving reasons thereof and to waive information and
irregularities, which do not constitute a material modification in
the bids received.
