Competitive Bidding
Ethiopian Rural Energy Development
and Promotion Centre (EREDPC) has secured fund from Ethiopian
Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (EFDRE) and Netherlands
Development Organization (SNV) to wards financing of the National
Biogas Programme (NBP) and it intends to utilize part of the
proceeds of the fund or purchase of Office Equipments, Office
Furniture and Biogas Appliances. Thus:
1. The
FREDPC/NBP invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply
and delivery of Office Equipments, Furniture and Biogas Appliances
as indicated in the following lots.

2. Bidding
will be conducted in accordance with the open tendering procedures
contained in the Public Procurement Proclamation of the Government
of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and is open to all
eligible bidders
3. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from EREDPC/NBPCO
from July 30, 2009 and collect the bidding documents at the address
given below from 9:00 – 12:00 a.m. and 2:00 – 5:00
p.m. (Local Time).
4. A
complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by
interested bidders at the address below and upon payment of a
non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr 50.00 (Birr Fifty). The method
of payment will be in cash.
5. Bids
must be delivered to the address below on or before
August 14, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. Late
bids shall be rejected.
6. Bids
will be opened in the presence of the bidders or their legal
representatives at the address below on August 14, 2009 3:00 p.m.
7. A
bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of Ethiopian
Birr 5000 for each lot in the form of bank guarantee or CPO from a
reputable bank acceptable to the purchaser/
8. Address
of Bid Purchase, Submission & Opening:
EREDPC/NBPCO is located on the road
from Mexico to Sar Bet about 300 Meter opposite to Mexico Oilibiya
fuel Station.
