The National
Lottery Administration of ETHIOPIA invites sealed bids from any
interested bidder for the printing and supply of two types of
barcoded instant Lottery tickets. The first type will have a total
quantity of 150 (One Hundred Fifty) million tickets each single
ticket having a price of Birr 1 and the second type total quantity
is 48 (Forty Eight) million tickets with a single ticket price of
Birr 2. Each type will have its own prize structure and prize payout
percentage. The supply will be in two phases or round of orders in
which the first phase supply or round of order will consist 75
(Seventy Five) million tickets of the first type and 24 (Twenty
Four) million tickets of the second type. The remaining amount of
each type will be supplied in the second phase or round of order.

Any interested bidder can collect a complete set of bidding
document prepared in English language from the National Lottery
Administration head office, Arada Kefleketema, Kebele 01, 02, Room
No.15 during working days Monday to Friday and office hours from
8:30 A.M. to 12:30 A.M. and from 1:30 P.M. to 5:30 P.M. against
non-refundable payment of Birr 400 (Four Hundred Birr) in cash or
certified cheque issued by recognized bank.
2. Bids
must be accompanied by a bid bond of Birr 100,000 (One Hundred
Thousand) or its equivalent in any feely convertible currency.
3. The
bid bond must be in any of the following forms:
a)
Cash
b)
Certified Cheque (CPO) issued by recognized bank.
c)
Bank Guarantee issued by a recognized bank.
4. Bid
must be delivered on or before July 16, 2009 at 3:00 P.M. local time to the following address:

5. Bid
will be opened on the same date & time (i.e. July 16, 2009 at 3:00
P.M.) in the presence of bidders or their legal representatives at National
Lottery Administration head office.
6. National
Lottery Administration reserves the right to reject all or part of
the bid.
