Procurement of Equipment for computers
Maintenance labs in 15 TVET Centers
1. The
Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received a credit from
the International Development Association (IDA) towards the cost of
Information and Communication Technology Assisted Development (ICTAD)
Project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of the loan to
payments under contract for the Procurement of Equipments for
computers maintenance labs in 15 TVET Centers
2. The
ICTAD Project now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the
Procurement of Equipments for computers maintenance labs in 15 TVET
Centers.
3. Bidding
will be conducted under the National Competitive Bidding
Procedures in accordance with the World Bank Guidelines:
Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits dated May 2004, and
is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as defined in
the Guidelines.
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from Ethiopian ICT

bidding documents at the address given below during office hours.
5. A
complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested
eligible bidders on the submission of a written application to
Ethiopian ICT Development Agency, ICT Assisted Development Project,
Dembel City Center, 11th floor using
left No. 2 or 3, upon payment of non-refundable fee of Birr 100 or
the equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency.
6. Bids
must be submitted to Ethiopian ICT Development Agency, ICT Assisted
Development Project, at or before
2:00 P.M
on August 7, 2009. Electronic bidding
will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.
7. All
bids must be accompanied a Bid security of Birr 65,000. or
the equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency.
8. Bids
will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives
who choose to attend at Ethiopian ICT Development Agency, ICT
Assisted Development Project at
2:30 P.M. on August 7, 2009.
