Invitation for Expression of
Interest in Consultancy Service
For Study of Food Insecurity
Situation
The Deusche Gesellschaft Fur
Techische Zusammenarbeit (GTZ Office, Addis Ababa) desires to invite
potential consultants on the Study for Food Insecurity Situation in
14 Woredas of the Amhara Region.
The GTZ Office Addis Ababa,
therefore, invites eligible and competent people or firms to submit
their application together with their company profile and other
supporting documents, as indicated below:
The Consultants assignment should be:
1. Assess
the food insecurity magnitude of the most vulnerable house holds in
each of the 14 Woredas in line with the four pillars of food
insecurity.
2. To
estimate the proportion of rural households /population who are
becoming vulnerable to chronic food insecurity.
3. To
propose intervention to address a possible food insecurity situation
in these Woredas for presentation to the Regional Government and
potential donors.
The assignment should start on the
1st of August, 2009 and will take 2 months up to the delivery of the
final report which has to be approved by the FSPC DPO Amhara.
Interested consultancy companies with
a proven experience in the above mentioned filed and with government
and bilateral development institutions are invited to collect the
Terms of Reference to participate in the tender from the reception
desk of the German House from 6 July -9 July 2009.
