1. The
Ministry of Education has funds within the Employer’s budget to be
used for the procurement of Remaining Work of Library Building &
Site Work at Adigrat.
2. The
Ministry of Education invites sealed bids from eligible bidders of
stated in below.
3. Bidding
will be conducted in accordance with the open National tendering
procedures contained in the Public procurement Proclamation of the
Federal government of Ethiopia and is open to all eligible bidders.
4. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from Construction
Design Share Company and inspect the bidding documents at the
address given below at 7(a) from 8:30 hrs to 16:30 hrs local time.
5. A
complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased as of Sene 30,
2001 E.C by interested eligible bidders on submission of a written
application, VAT registration certificate, Ministry of Works & Urban
Development, Trade License & Bid participation supporting letter at
the address below at 7b & upon payment of a non-refundable fee Birr

6. Bids
must be delivered to the address below at 7(c) at or before 10:00
hrs, Hamle 29, 2001 E.C. All bids must be accompanied by a bid
security of Ethiopian Birr 55,000.00 payable at first demand. Bids
will be opened in the presence of the bidders /representatives who
choose to attend at the address below at 7(d) at 10:30 hrs Hamle 29,
2001 E.C.

e. The Bidders are instructed to submit
all copies of the Bid in five inner envelopes i.e., the (Technical
Proposal, Financial Offer, and Bid Security) and one outer envelope,
duly marking the inner envelopes as “ORIGINAL” and “COPIES” both for
the “The Technical Proposal” and “Financial Offer” Failure to do
so results as non-responsive.

The Ministry of Education has the right to reject any or all
bids.
Bidders are instructed to fill, sign
& seal all forms of ITB and eturn with the bid document.
Partial rebate, like fixed sum and
rebate on some items is not acceptable
Bidders should sign and seal the bid
documents. Failure to do so results as non-responsive.
