Invitation to Bidders (IFB), Addis
Ababa University
Procurement of Laboratory Equipment and Laboratory Suppliers
1. This
invitation for bid follows the standard format of IFB for the
procurement of Laboratory Equipment and Laboratory Suppliers as
stipulated in the Federal Ministry of Finance and Economic
Development Procurement Directive.
2. Addis
Ababa University, has got fund from SIDA/SAREC for the Procurement
of laboratory Equipment and Laboratory Supplies.
3. Addis
Ababa university, invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the
supply of Laboratory Equipment and laboratory Suppliers.
4. Bidding
will be conducted according to International Competitive Bidding
(ICB) procedures provided in Public Procurement proclamation of
Goods of Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and are open to all
eligible source countries.
5. Interested
eligible bidders may obtain further information from Addis Ababa
University, Graduate Programs Procurement Office, Room No. 21 and at
the address given below from
8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
during working days.
6. A
complete set of English Bidding Document may be purchased by
interested bidders from the address below and upon payment of a
non-refundable fee of Birr 100. Payment can be effected in cash at
the university cash service.
7. Bids
must be delivered to the address below at or before
2:00 P.M
on
August 25, 2009
Electronic bidding will be permitted.
Late bids will be reject. Bids will be opened in the presence of
bidders or their representatives who choose to attend in person at
the address by a Bid Security of Birr 60,000.00
